Jan van Eck neemt even een korte break, maar ik laat jullie niet onverzorgd achter.
Ik heb natuurlijk weer bands in de schijnwerpers gezet. Het ouwetje komt van Tee-Set met onvergetelijke muzirk van het album Join The Tea Set uit 1968. Sons Of Apollo is totaal andere koek dan Tee Set, deze Amerikaanse band levert prima progressive metal af, maar dat mag ook wel als je twee ervaren rotten zoals Mike Portnoy en Billy Sheehan (Dream Theater) in de gelederen hebt, zij leveren een heerlijk live album af: Live at the Roman Amphitheatre in Plovdiv. Ook live is het album van Polly O’Keary and The Rhythm Method, lekkere swingende bluesrock met soms een vleugje soul, As Live As It Gets. De vierde band in de schijnwerpers is er één uit Nederland, Arnhem om precies te zijn, Knight Area. Knight Area, inmiddels met nieuwe zanger, Jan Willem Ketelaers, hebben met D-Day een on-Nederlands goed album neergezet, het thema van het album moet al duidelijk zijn als je de titel leest.
